Serves 2
2 bagels (or other good white bread)
6 fish fingers
Some lettuce (optional)
Tartare sauce
Scampi Fries (a pub snack)
Tartare Sauce
2 or 3 dessertspoons of mayonnaise
1 tbsp of finely chopped capers
1 tbsp diced pickled gherkins
1 spring onions finely chopped
1tbs finely chopped fresh parsley
salt and pepper.
Cook the fish fingers according to the instructions on the packet. This should take about 12 minutes. Cut the bagels in two and lightly toast them. Arrange the fish fingers on the bottom bagel. Spread your tartare sauce on top of the fish fingers, and for extra crunch add a layer of Scampi Fries. Top with the other half of the bagel and serve hot.
