Gluten Free Scones 

1/2cup ground almonds
1/2cup all-purpose gluten free flour
1/2cup chestnut flour
1/2cup chickpea flour
1 teaspoon baking powder (gluten free)
1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum
50g of cold butter, cubed
salt to taste
Combine these ingredients with hands or a food processor into crumbs and add 1 cup of buttermilk. Roll out the dough and shape into scones onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 – 30 minutes
