Masala Bhindi (Okra)

Heat a tablespoon of oil and when it is hot add ½ a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and ¼ teaspoon of asafoetida powder. Give it a quick stir and add 16 bhindis cut into three pieces. Mix well and add ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon chilli powder, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1desertspoon each of coriander powder and cumin powder. Stir and cook over a medium to high heat for a minute or so then turn the heat down low and cook for 15 minutes. Sprinkle over 1 teaspoon chick pea (gram) flour, garnish with fresh lime juice and serve.
