Figs and ham

For each person:
1 ripe fresh fig
1 slice of Parma ham or similar
1 piece of brie cheese
Heat the oven to 200°C/Gas 6. Take the stalk off the fig and slice it down into quarters just far enough that it opens out. Place a piece of brie or similar into the cut and wrap the ham or bacon round the outside. Place on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 10 minutes or so, until the cheese melts and the ham crisps a bit. Serve hot.
