500g dried figs, roughly chopped
½ cup of chopped roasted hazelnuts
¼ cup icing sugar
1 tablespoon of grated lemon rind
2 tablespoons Pernod
2 tablespoons melted chocolate
Put all of the ingredients (except for half of the sugar) into a food processor and mix into a pulp. Cover a square of foil with the rest of the sugar. Form the mixture into a log about 5cm in diameter and roll up in the foil. Chill thoroughly and cut into 1cm slices to serve.
