Oven dried tomatoes

Use cherry or tiny plum tomatoes. Cut them in half lengthways, drizzle a little oil on and sprinkle some salt on them and lay them on baking trays in a very low oven. If you have an Aga or Rayburn that might be the best place for them. Allow to cool and store in jars, covered with olive oil. You can use them like sundried tomatoes. They are very tasty just as a snack.
