About half a pound of fresh mushrooms thinly sliced.
1 clove of garlic crushed with a garlic press or in a mortar and pestle
3 tablespoons olive oil
Mix the garlic into the olive oil and let it stand for a minute or two. Strain the garlic out of the oil and discard. Pour the oil over the mushrooms and mix thoroughly. Let it stand for about ten minutes before serving. If it looks a bit dry, add more oil.
